Respond to OHTO's Monthly Guiding Question to Share Your Story

Come Wander has been created to share the stories of Ontario's Highlands and provide a place for our tourism partners and operators to share their brand message and reach new audiences. We know you're busy, so we're asking that you answer just one simple question each month.

Cottagers and vacationers will soon pack up their cars and head out to the region with their fingers crossed for beautiful, sunny days. But Mother Nature doesn't take requests, so this month we're wondering:

How would you suggest a visitor spend a rainy day in Ontario's Highlands this summer?

Please submit your response to this question by Friday, May 31, 2019.

Help Shape the Ontario Tourism Strategy

Take the survey by Feb 28!

As the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Sport looks to develop a new Ontario Tourism Strategy, they are first gathering feedback from visitors, students, and industry stakeholders in Ontario. Providing your feedback in the form of a short survey will help the Ministry ensure the tourism sector continues to grow and thrive.

The Tourism Operator/Industry Stakeholder survey is open to individuals who own a tourism business, support tourism businesses (e.g., Chamber of Commerce, BIAs) or are engaged within the tourism sector (e.g. worker, municipality, or association).

Your feedback will help to shape the following focus areas:

  • embrace a visitor-first approach
  • improve the business climate
  • improve sector alignment
  • provincial interests and role in tourism
  • support business and community development

The survey deadline is February 28, 2019. To learn more and to take the survey, please click here.
